Cripley Hollow is a small village nestled among the Appalachian Mountains. It's one of those places where everyone knows everyone else and neighbors help each other out. ​But you won't find Cripley Hollow on a map. In fact, you most likely won't find Cripley Hollow at all, not unless you know it's there. ​When Celeste's mother moves them to Cripley Hollow, Celeste is excited about the move. However, there is more to Cripley Hollow, and Celeste's parents, than she realized, and now she must adjust to living in a place that's stranger than anywhere she's ever been before. ​
